Log-periodic aerials: our default for strong and medium-signal postcodes. Excellent rejection of 4G/5G interference, discreet on a chimney, and less prone to wind-loading than older Yagi designs.
High-gain Yagi (18–48 element): for fringe-signal areas, valleys or houses shielded by trees. Bigger, but the extra gain is the difference between a stable picture and daily pixelation.
Grouped aerials: where a specific transmitter uses a narrow band, a grouped aerial rejects everything else and gives cleaner signal than a wideband would.
Loft aerials: for conservation areas, listed buildings or where a roof install isn't practical. We'll tell you honestly if a loft install will work in your postcode or not.
Indoor / omni-directional: rarely the right answer, but suitable for caravans, boats and some flats in central London postcodes.
Cable, connectors and distribution
We only fit CT100 / WF100-grade double-screened satellite-quality coax on aerial jobs. It's overkill for a single-room feed and exactly right for anything longer, future-proofing you against Wi-Fi and mobile interference that thinner cable lets through.
Connectors are compression F-type or crimped IEC belling-lee, sealed with self-amalgamating tape where they're outside. Wall-plates are flush-fitted, screwed to a proper back-box.
Distribution to multiple rooms uses a mains-powered amplifier sized to your point count, not a passive splitter that halves the signal for every extra room.
Common repair jobs we do every week
"No signal" after a storm: usually a bent element or the whole aerial swung out of alignment. Straight replace-and-realign job.
Some channels missing, others fine: nearly always a wrong-band aerial or a marginal signal. A better aerial or a masthead amp fixes it.
Pixelation in the evenings only: classic sign of a nearby 4G/5G mast. Modern log-periodic aerial with proper filtering resolves it.
Aerial hanging off the chimney: bracket has rusted through. We replace the lot with stainless fixings before it takes a tile down.
Residential vs landlord / letting jobs
For homeowners we prioritise a neat, hidden cable run and one tidy wall-plate. For landlords and letting agents we prioritise long-lifespan components, clear labelling in the loft, and a written record of the install date and warranty so it's easy to hand on between tenants.

How much does a new TV aerial cost to install?

How long does the installation take?

A straightforward chimney replacement is usually 60–90 minutes on site. A multi-room distribution install with a new amplifier and two or three additional points takes half a day. We'll tell you the time on the phone before we book.
Can you fix it today?

Yes, same-day slots are standard when you call before mid-afternoon. We carry every common aerial, bracket, cable and connector on the van, so 'no signal' faults are usually resolved on the first visit.
What's the warranty?

Two years on parts and labour. If any element of the install fails inside 24 months, aerial, bracket, cable, wall-plate, we come back and put it right at no cost. Most other firms only give you 12 months.
How long will a new aerial last?

A properly-installed aerial with stainless fixings and quality cable will comfortably last 15–20 years in British weather. Cheap installs with mild-steel brackets often need re-doing inside 5.
Do I need a new aerial or just a re-align?

Often just an alignment and a new cable end will get you back on air. We won't sell you a new aerial if the existing one still has years in it, we tell you honestly on site.
Do you install aerials in lofts?

Yes, where signal in your postcode is strong enough. In marginal areas a loft install won't give reliable results, we'll tell you the honest answer on the free survey rather than take your money on a job that won't work.
Can you handle multiple TV points in different rooms?

Yes, that's a huge part of what we do. We install a properly-sized amplified splitter (not a passive one that halves signal) and run cable neatly to as many rooms as you need.
